Look with your EYES!

Okay, I have to explain the title. When I ask Jonas not to touch something, I say "Look with your eyes, not with your hands." So lately when I say the words "Don't touch" he automatically says "'ook wif fer eyes" It's just too funny. So speaking of looking with your eyes...it's been exactly a week since Jonas got his new glasses.

Day 1 with glasses:

He has been SO GOOD to wear his glasses. I thought he might struggle for a while and want to rip them off constantly, but really the only time he tried to take them off in the first couple of days was when he was eating. Yesterday morning, the first thing he said when he woke up was "where's my gwasses?" Let's hope he stays this good. His next eye appointment will be at the beginning of April, so we'll see if there is any change. It's great to see him watch TV or look at us from across the room and NOT have his right eye drift inward. Even on the first day, when I took them off of him, it looked weird to see him without them!

Yes, those are his glasses.....in the trash! Read the story below:

On Monday, he was told he couldn't have a fruit snack for breakfast {I know, I'm such a mean mom!}, so he neatly folded his glasses and put them ever so gently in the garbage can. He stepped backwards a couple of steps to take a look at his devious artwork, and then stepped back to the garbage and hid them under the envelope, looked again, and then decided to put them back on top and walked away. It was like he was trying to be defiant, but just couldn't be too defiant. I was right there watching him do it, so I let him finish what he started and then got them out. I guess we'll have to check to make sure we know where his glasses are BEFORE we take out the trash!

Jonas LOVES temples and he got to go to temple square last Saturday and was in complete AWE at the grandeur of the temple. He just couldn't get enough. I thought this pic was cute to show how little he is compared to it, and you can't even see the top of it!

Okay, my sister was complaining that I didn't have any baby belly pics, so here they are:
The one on the left is me on my ORIGINAL due date: March 2nd, and the one on the right is BELLY TO BELLY with my little sister, taken last Sunday. She's due in June with her first. We are so excited for them and I am especially excited to know that our little guy will have a cousin his age. It always makes it fun!

Well, the next post just might have info regarding our newest member of the family.

That is so funny he tried to trash his glasses in front of you.

Thanks for couponing with me...and for your support as a friend.

I think he looks so much older with his glasses on!

I have to admit that he looks so stinkin' cute with his glasses on and I am SO proud of how well he is doing! I think it has to do with good parenting ;0) I can't believe that you will have your new little one this week! I am super excited that you invited me to be a part of the very special occasion. Love you to pieces! p.s. thanks for the link!
