Easter Egg Hunt #1

It was a chilly Easter, but we had fun finding eggs in Grandpa Gunther's backyard. There were so many good hiding places that we couldn't find the last one. McKinley, Paige, Brockston, and Garrett were all there as well. Jonas's eggs were little tiny ones. The candy inside was a bonus for me, I guess--like I need more around the house!!! It was great to be with family.

Superman!

Jonas seems to always manage to turn his bib into a cape. It doesn't do the job that way, however, but it sure looks cute. He also loves it when Pete holds him up like he is flying. And Pete, being the John Williams music lover that he is, always sings the Superman theme song while he is in the air. Man, I love my two boys!

Whenever I sit down to the computer with Jonas in my lap, he loves to play with the keyboard. He is my blogging side kick, I guess.

We'd like to welcome the newest family member to our fish tank--Gonner. He is a condylactis anemone. We named him such because we are afraid he won't last long in our tank. The last anemone we had like this one got eaten by Lincoln, our Stars and Stripes puffer. We are on day two and are trying to discipline Lincoln when he takes a bite at Gonner. The flesh of his body (you can't see it in this picture, but it is a salmon color) is the same color as Krill...so you can imagine just how tasty he seems to Lincoln. Cross your fingers that he'll be around for a while. If not, then he was a $6.00 meal for Lincoln.

Welcome Owen Gunther Bean!

My sister Carrie had her baby on Tues. March 18th. He weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz. and was 19 inches long. As you can probably see, he has a ton of hair. Wow! There is a picture of Benson with Owen. He apparently was quickly distracted and didn't want much to do with him after a few minutes. I am excited because we'll get to see Owen in person this weekend. Congrats Carrie & Jeff!

It's Alive!!!

I feel like I might be creating my own Frankenstein by starting one of these, but oh, well--here it goes...wish me luck.
