I took Jonas to a pediatric ophthalmologist this morning because his right eye has been sliding inward when he focuses on certain things. At first, we thought this one crossed-eye was cute, but then we realized it was something that was happening too frequent, so I made an appointment and he's got accommodative esotropia. Poor kid! So, he'll be getting some prescription lenses. All kids have some degree of farsightedness (+2-+3) but Jonas's right eye is at a +6 and his left is +5, so he'll be getting some of these bad boys. Good thing I have a sister who works for an optometrist so that we don't have to pay hundreds of $$$ for a pair of glasses. So, the next time some of you will see Jonas, he might look something like this:

1, 2, 8, 4, 5
I thought I'd share a couple more Jonas videos.
He loves naming his letters and numbers {and knows most of them}. But if he doesn't know which letter it is, he usually says "h" and if it's a number he doesn't know, he usually says "8". So here's his 1-5:
Here's Jonas naming some animals and the sounds they make. It's funny when he doesn't know the sound of an animal, like a fish, he sometimes just says, "hi fish" for the sound it makes {of course he doesn't do it in this video}. And his sound for the bird is quite funny. He does a kissing noise with his lips because of the way Pete does a bird sound {you'll hear his version in the background after Jonas does his}.
Hope you enjoyed these videos. I'm trying to get a good compilation of the primary songs he likes to sing on video, so hopefully he'll cooperate :0)
