BIG UNVEILING...and a bit of deja vu

Do you remember that little sneak peak from over a month ago? Well, it's time for the unveiling. I had to tweak it a bit before it was picture worthy.

So, here is Jonas's teepee. It turned out to be a lot bigger than I had anticipated, but it's really fun for him and he can just walk right in and play.
And I FINALLY got to see my little bro. DALLIN. He's been home for two weeks now. It was awesome to get to go home. We're going this weekend {for conference} and the weekend of the 18th too {WICKED--6th row center!!!}
Anyone remember the last strange thing that got washed? Well, I guess I need to go through the clothes better. I had already pulled out a half dozen of these things before starting the washer, but I guess two of them REALLY wanted to get washed.

Wanna see Pete dance???

Well, you'll have to come see...
Photobucket

Dates/times/location are all provided above. It is a musical based on the story of Esther from the Bible. Of course there are some fictitious characters that have been added to spice it up {like my character}, but the general story line is very accurate.

Okay, so Pete only does about 3 measures of dancing, but I thought it might draw in a crowd none the less. And if you want to see me look like a . . . um . . . I don't know what to call it . . . but it will be kinda crazy--then come and see the show. I've been on antibiotics for acute bronchitis since Thursday and I hope that I will have a voice to sing at least my solo for the show! We've been practicing since January and it will be so nice to have our nights back! It has been a blast to be part of this show. The whole cast is fabulous. You'll laugh and possibly even cry. Bring your friends and family because it's FREE!!! Can't beat that, eh? I hope to see a lot of you there that live here in town.

$25 gift card GIVEAWAY!!!

I love these things. Go over to my friend Cortnie's blog to enter {it ends tonight} and follow the instructions {or watch it from the link at the bottom of this post}. It is a pretty cool new thing that is happening with texting and messaging. Unfortunately, we don't currently have a texting plan {I know, we need to jump on the bandwagon} and I could go on about my texting soapbox, but I won't. Anyway, if you have a texting plan or like to IM people, then this thing is for you and it is rediculously inexpensive and can pretty much pay for itself. Check it out NOW, right here.

Scrappy Weekend

My mom and two of my sisters came up to Idaho to scrap with me all weekend long, with no kiddos (except 5 month old Caleb). It was so much fun. We've done it before and it was still such a blast. My mom and sisters all won stuff! My mom won an 8x8 album, Carrie won a tearing tool, and Julie won an 8x8 paper pack. I guess it will be my turn next year. We went to bed at about 2:00 a.m. and I got up at 6:45 a.m. I had to get ready earlier than everyone else because I had a voice student who was singing for a state solo competition. When I came back, everyone was back to scrappin'. I had to leave early because of the Stake Musical practice, so all in all, I lost a few hours of scrapping. I finished 5 two-page layouts which isn't too bad for me.

This was my favorite layout from the weekend:

Mom and Carrie. Gotta love my mom's look--I think she was gluing something down. You know, it has to be totally straight. She did fabulous and got done as many pages as I did.
Julie and sleepy Caleb. Scrapping one-handed is tricky.

Tara and Amber: Amber won a prize too. We had quite a lucky table. Next year, I call the space across from Gina.
Gina Lynn: complete with all the crazy work space. Oooh, check out the brownie next to her right hand. It was D.VINE. I'll have to search for a recipe to make them.
Do I look tired? This is me on 4.5 hours of sleep just waiting for the inspiration to hit me.
