He's getting worse!

Pete wanted Jonas to be a daredevil, but not any more. You saw the horse pictures, right? Well, this last week, he did a front flip over the horse's head and landed on his back. He's going crazy!

Play the YouTube video, and then scroll down. You don't need to watch it--I just wanted the music :0)

Duhn....

duhn...
duhn...
duh duhn!!
He loves to climb up the couch to get to the windowsill and watch cars pass by.

What this kid will do to get to the light switch while mom does her hair and makeup:

He usually empties out the drawer first, or at least a little space where he can sit, and then reaches for the door handle and steps on the edge of the drawer. Yes, you are seeing that correctly. He should be a tight rope walker or something with that skill. He just has a blast doing this.

Pay it Forward!!!

Pay it forward Pictures, Images and Photos

Pay It Forward Exchange is based on the concept of the movie "Pay it forward". I will send a hand made gift to the first FIVE people who leave a comment to this post on my blog requesting to join the PIF exchange. All the gifts will be made and posted out 'sometime within the next year'. How exciting to not know when your surprise package will arrive! What you need to do in return, is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog. This Exchange is only open to those with active websites or blogs. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PROMISE TO POST THIS SAME 'PAY IT FORWARD' MESSAGE ONTO YOUR BLOG, WHICH MUST BE ACTIVE IN ORDER TO PLAY. YOU WILL PAY IT FORWARD TO FIVE PEOPLE WHO COMMENT ON YOUR BLOG. I'd love for you to join me! Will you? Other comments are welcome, but only the first five will be my Pay It Forward recipients. Who doesn't love free loot?

I won {well I haven't gotten it yet, obviously because I just won} a handmade gift from DONNA who makes super duper cute stuff. She is the queen of crafting--seriously. I am so excited. She has the most up-to-date gadgets and everything. I just feel bad for those who win on mine because they aren't getting as good a deal as me ;0)

I guess if you don't want to win, you can just not comment!

Another sneak peak, a wanted recipe, and random acts of Jonas

Here's a sneak peak of my recent project. I am really trying hard to actually finish projects. I have a tendency to not {see previous post}. Hopefully I can get the stuff to finish it today!

A lot of people wanted the pavlova recipe. Well, I'll just give you the link. It is:
http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/creamy-vanilla-raspberry-pavlova-69002.aspx
Everyone who I've given it to has loved it. Good luck if you want to try it out. DON'T let any egg yolk get in--I did and it cost me six eggs and a cup of sugar. TIP: crack the eggs in a separate bowl before you dump them in. I know that's probably a 'duh' but just in case.

Jonas LOVES LOVES LOVES phones. He can find them anywhere. I will be with friends and all of a sudden he's got their phone. He finds them in purses, jackets, etc. and love to push the buttons. This is an old phone of mine that I let him play with. He's been doing this a lot lately where he puts it up to his ear and starts to talk.

Nothing is more entertaining than pulling out tissues one by one.

The daredevil in him:

He thought it was pretty funny!

Pickle hat. Jonas put it on his head and then forgot about it.

I wanted to enter Jonas in a baby photo contest on Regis & Kelly, so I took a bunch of pics of him. Well, he was being a pill and I didn't get anything that I really liked. So, after hundreds of pictures {it's hard to do by yourself--I needed an extra set of hands} I didn't even submit anything. Oh well, maybe next time. Here are a few.

OH, and Happy Valentine's Day♥

The price of being sick.

We all went to the doctor this morning, yes, all three of us. Pete has been sick off and on for three weeks and Jonas and I started coughing and getting lovely snotty noses last weekend. So, we payed $90 just to see the doc and get prescriptions. I thought that maybe we all had the same thing. NOPE. We each got different medications. Jonas got cefdinir for a double ear infection--$17.38. I got cephalexin for, I am guessing a sinus infection {doc didn't say exactly what I had}--$2.00. And Pete was diagnosed with pneumonia for which he got azithromycin--$9.43. So hopefully, after spending a total of $118.81 and that doesn't include all the tissues we've gone through either, we'll be able to breathe and not cough all over everyone. Happy winter ya'll {sniff, sniff-literally}.

Most of you think of Feb. 1st as the super bowl...not here!

Well, it IS the super bowl, but well before it was even announced as that date, it was {31 years ago} Pete's Birthday!!! I know he doesn't look his age, but it's true. So we're going to have a huge party for it :0) I made chocolate pudding yum yum and Pavlova {see prior post} to take to our friends for the festivities. I have a feeling that people all across the country are going to be having little parties for Pete today!
I love this picture of Pete and Jonas. He is always letting him ride around on his shoulders {except when he's got a poopy diaper :0) }

On Thursday, I accidentally told Pete to open up his present. Okay, let me explain because that sounds funny. I was expecting a manila envelope to come in the mail for me from my sister, Carrie. Pete got the mail and I was doing the dishes. He asked what it was and I asked who it was from. He replied, "no one." So I just figured it was from Carrie and I told him to open it. I looked over and saw his present and ran over to take it away from him, but it was too late...he'd already seen it. He was excited, so I gave in. It is a snowboarding DVD. He's been watching it in snippets on YouTube, but none of them are the full movie, so I got it for him so that he can watch it all he wants. For you snowboarders out there, it's called "That's it. That's all." It is of Travis Rice {from Jackson, WY} and buddies. So, Happy B-day Petey! We love you.
