Aren't they just the cutest you've ever seen?

My boys...

I know, you think they're cute too, right? Well, you may not think they are cuter than yours, but would you be so kind as to go vote for my boys at the Gerber photo contest?!? Pretty please?!? Everyday?!?

JUST CLICK ON THEIR PICTURES ABOVE & FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO VOTE

Much to my dismay, the rules are such that only one vote can be cast per email address, computer, and day, so all though I have two email accounts, I can only use one per day because I only have one computer, unless I go use someone else's computer (the library is tempting me). So for you lucky ones out there with at least two computers and two email addresses in your household, you can vote for both of them everyday.

So why do I want you to vote for my boys? It's simple, really. I had (November 26, 2004-July 17, 2010, RIP) a digital camera with video capabilities that weren't anything to do cartwheels for, but it was compact and decent. I have a really nice camera (thank you Nikon) but it doesn't have video capabilities. So, the winner for each "milestone" category for each month will win one of these puppies:

{Flip SlideHD Camcorder}

My parents have a regular Flip and it is pretty cool. Needless to say, I'd like to be able to post more videos of my precious boys on here, so help me out, por favor! Just click on their pictures to vote!!!
Merci beaucoup!

I have to write it down...

...or I'll forget!

Evan rolled from his back to his belly yesterday and then I put him on his belly for "tummy time" and he rolled onto his back!

Visit from Nana & Bless You!

Nana came to visit & met Evan for the first time! She snuggled him to the max and had a magical touch for putting him to sleep. We love Nana!

Nana brought her two puppies along and Jonas LOVED them. Em was just the perfect size for him and she didn't mind him picking her up.

I love how Evan is already pulling faces at the camera!

He's already singing his little heart out :0)

9 1/2 weeks old. He's in the 70th percentile for his weight (he's now in 3-6 mon. clothes!) and 50th percentile for his height.

Evan's blessing day was wonderful. We had almost all of my family over (lots of extra hands to hold la bebe & help with the food) which was wonderful! I love them all! Pete (& the bishop) said Evan was smiling during the blessing. What a sweet little man we have!

Here's a pic with Grandma & Grandpa Gunther

Here's our little family...

Pete's Dad Vince, and his wife Ana with her daughter RoyAnn (& her friend Chelsie...not in the picture) were able to come down for the blessing. They were awesome help and they especially love Jonas! We always love it when they come to visit.

Evan was not being very cooperative for pictures...

until he got the bink...

Here are some more random pictures:

Do these guys look like brothers?!? These were taken when they were each 1 month old:
They have the exact same cow lick in the front right side of their hairline even.

Jonas wanted to change Monkey's bum...

The other day, Jonas told me he caught a spider. Sometimes he pretends to have something, like a cookie, and give it to me and I though that's what he was doing, but I saw something black in between his fingers. He wasn't kiddin'! He'd caught a jumping spider (from who-knows-where) and put it on the kitchen floor. How he caught it, I'll never know...

Randomness

Evan is now 2 1/2 weeks old, but these pics were from when he was 8 days old:
I love baby "ooooh" faces

Jonas loves to copy Pete and he usually lays on the floor with Pete when he does his stretches after biking. Jonas even grabbed an apple to chomp on like dad!

Jonas's monster creations. We got these magnet books from Grandma and Jonas has loved putting faces together. He got the nose and mouth mixed up on the one on the left (and thought that monster mouth was a hat) and added a mouth goatee for the one on the right, complete with eyes for ears. Hey, at least he got all the matching eyes...

I love sitting like this, like kneeling but flat on the ground, and I found Jonas in this position this morning after getting mad about his "temple" falling over.

INTRODUCING EVAN!!!

EVAN LLOYD GALLANT!!!

Wednesday, March 10, 2010
1:04 am
7 lbs. 9 oz.
21 1/2 in. long

We are so excited to add this cute little man to our family! If you want to know the story leading up to this wonderful event, read on:
I was having contractions all day on Tuesday, but they were around 10 minutes apart, so too early to go into the hospital. Pete was so good to call during recess, lunch, and after school to see how I was doing. Then after school he went up to Kelly Canyon to go snowboarding with the youth in our ward. I was a bit hesitant, but let him go since it's only 30 minutes away. My contractions started to get more intense in the early evening, but still 10 minutes apart.
At about 9:00, I took a nice warm bath while Jonas watched a movie and as soon as I got out of the bath, my contractions increased to 3-5 minutes apart. Pete walked in the door just as I was getting out! Good timing, eh? So I told him to pack his bag....he was a bit taken back and was not expecting to go to the hospital just yet. I called my awesome friend Donna over to watch Jonas until my mom could get up here from UT. THANKS DONNA!
We checked in and I was hooked up to all the fancy equipment by around 10:30. I was measuring 5-6 cm at this point, so they called the anesthesiologist down :0) He was finished with my epidural by about 11:40 and then Dr. B came down to break my water. At this point I was at 7-8 cm. My best friend, GINA, came over to keep us entertained and snap some pics. THANKS GINA!
My mom, dad, and sister Jena were on their way and I was hoping they'd make it before he came. Jena is due in June and wanted to come up to get an idea of what it might be like since this is her first.
They arrived at about 12:15 and I was at 8-9 cm.
So, needless to say, I was ready to go just before 1:00 and I started my pushin'. I pushed through two contractions and there he was. The umbilical chord was wrapped around his neck once and he was pretty purple when they laid him on me! It took a while, but he finally pinked up.
Here are a bunch of pics in no particular order and without caption.

Fabulous Dr. B!

Later that day...{but it literally felt like the next day since we had such an early start to the morning}

Jonas's initial reaction was something like, "what is this thing?" No smile, he just stared at "it."
He wouldn't come sit in the hospital bed next to me. He was terrified of it {or me} for some reason.

He was willing enough to give Evan knuckles...

Day two: getting ready to go home!

Finally a smile from big brother! I guess it just took a day...

Thanks to everyone who has stopped by to visit, sent messages via e-mail, texting, or facebook, or called to chat. We really appreciate your love and friendship. And, please feel free to stop by and visit if you want and are in town--we love visitors!
