I finally finished Eragon on Thursday. It took me a while to really get going, but then it wasn't long before I was finished. It was a good book, and now I'd like to watch the movie again to compare. I did like the movie, but from what I remember, there are a few things that are different. The disappointing thing is that some of the best parts of the book were not even in the
movie (at least from what I can remember). I've started Eldest and it is nearly 700 pages, so it may take a while. So far, it is good.

You have helped me make a decision! I have been debating if I should read this book or not. I have a friend that loved it, but our tastes in book aren't always the same. I AM going to add it to my list of books to read!
The movie was a bit disappointing. I didn't like Eldest as much as Eragon. It is good and I think you should read it, but I just liked Eragon better. Eldest was kinda hard to get through for me. It's not hard reading, just a little slow.
