6 months and growing strong!

Jonas is 6 1/2 months old now and I wanted to post some pictures that Gina, my BFF, took of him a couple of weeks ago. {thanks G!}

I also thought I'd share some things that Jonas does/likes right now.

Jonas:

*Can roll over both ways, but would rather sit all by himself. He does NOT like being on his stomach and just gets mad (and lately has been falling asleep that way).

*Loves squash and peas the most. He doesn't like my pureed fruits and veggies (except banana) but I try to sneak them in his favorite stuff.

*Goes crazy over anything that crinkles (i.e. paper or bags).

*Crosses his eyes to look at things closely.

*Pants like a dog when he gets excited.

*Spins on his back (like he's break-dancing or something).

*Loves to get scared (he laughs).

*Still spits up every once in a while.

*Loves his baths and could probably play in the water until it is cold, but we haven't gotten that far yet.

*Smiles all the time and always has a twinkle in his eyes.

*Snores quite a bit and does the funny lip thing (see past post for the video).


*Has lately found out how to shake his head back and forth to say "no." Funny story: We were at Target and the lady at the register said, "You are so cute, I just want to gobble you right up" to which Jonas replied with a head shakin' NO.

*Puts everything in his mouth.

*Loves to play with hair and grab at faces. He cut Pete's nose a few weeks ago with his baby sharp nails.

*Is only in the 10th percentile for his weight (does he look like a skinny baby to you?) but 75th for his height.

*Tries to sing all the time. It is so cute. He can sing (squeal) higher than both of us.

*Is so good to take his naps. I just lay him in his bed and he's out within 5 mintues usually. He also loves to have something soft to snuggle with.

*Has the most beautiful blue eyes.

*Loves to laugh and has the sweetest puppy dog cry (press pause on the music before you press play on the video to watch him laugh).

Well, that's my boy. I think I got most everything.
