NANA (Pete's mom) came to visit us last week and it was fabulous. The last time we saw her was Christmas '07 and of course we haven't changed much, but Jonas sure has!
One of the first things Nana did was get Jonas a horse. She loves horses and is a great rider. Naturally he would do well with his first. After he got on, he started to 'trot' on the horse. Who knows where he got that from! It must be in his genes. Then he figured out how to rock on it and push the buttons. Oh, how he LOVES to push buttons. He finally figured out how to get on the horse. He was getting on on the wrong side of the horse, but we'll take it anyway.

Our favorite picture of the ridin' cowboy: lookin' like a pro riding with no hands.

Nana also got him some new shoes (including 'Thomas' ones that light up) and the most adorable coat from GAP. I totally want one just like it. I don't have a picture of him in it just yet, but I'll get one. It's big for him now, but it will fit him perfectly next year.
Nana loves hot springs and of course, Idaho is full of them. There is one about 20 minutes from our house. Pete, in fact, had just been talking about wanting to go swimming and she suggested it, so we took the opportunity. I hadn't been to this one before and it was a lot of fun. It was expensive {I thought} but fun non the less. It took Jonas a while before he really liked it. He was so unsure at first. But then I think he figured, it's like a huge bath tub. What a blast! We'll definitely be going back.
